# Almost Solved True Crime

AlmostSolved.com is the official informational and support website for the Almost Solved True Crime app for iPhone and iPad.

This website does not sell products, offer a shopping cart, or provide checkout.

## What Almost Solved does

Almost Solved is a private research workspace for source links, notes, timelines, map context, missing-person files, serial-killer profiles, and podcast handoff.

The app helps people discover true crime cases, check original sources, save useful links and their own notes in a Research File, and Find It Again later.

## Research flow

1. Start at the Research Desk.
2. Choose a case, missing-person file, serial-killer profile, person, or location.
3. Follow the case timeline and choose one source to check.
4. Open the original source outside Almost Solved.
5. Return to Almost Solved and add the useful link or a personal note to the Research File.
6. Use Find It Again to retrace the research path.

## Source boundaries

- Podcast episodes open in Apple Podcasts.
- Websites, blogs, news pages, public records, and official sources open externally.
- Almost Solved may save links, source labels, search context, timestamps, useful metadata, short summaries, and user-written notes.
- Almost Solved does not host third-party article bodies, podcast transcripts, copied social posts, or podcast audio.
- Almost Solved organizes personal research. It does not determine what happened, verify allegations as fact, investigate crimes, receive crime tips, or replace original sources.
